SATURDAY, APRIL 10, 2010 Here is the new improved lunch at our elementary school in Lang Son- Soup is being served by one of the teachers- but look at what is in each school lunch- supplies by the school- with your help!!! the students were well behaved- maybe even more so because we were there- Son and myself- many many thanks- for the children in this room- this is there main meal of the day.

Put in a water filtration system for Tan Lien Primary School providing clean water to 200 students daily
Dug a well for 3 satellite schools providing fresh water for 100 students and residents of this village
Provided 1,600 chickens & feed to families living in Tan Lien
Built a chicken coop for the Tan Lien Primary School
Provided 130 chickens & feed to Tan Lien Primary School
Provided over 32,000 nutritious lunches to students
Built a vegetable, herb and flower garden
Provided plants and seeds for school garden
Planted shade trees at school
Brought 7 computers back to working order for students
Provided 40 blankets for families and school nap time
Built 12 new traditional beds for nap time
Provided jackets and coats for over 200 students
Provided boots for over 160 students
Provided jeans and other clothes for over 300 students
Provided 7 pigs for families
Provided 14 bikes for school to loan to students
Provided cooking oil and fish sauce for over 60 families
Delivered gifts to 15 sponsored students and their families
Provided toothbrushes and toothpaste for 300 students
Provided over 500usd of reading books for students
Arranged for medical care for 5 students
